All of the providers at Family
Medical Group are trained to care for the medical needs of all individuals,
both young and old, including newborn care. All of the physicians
are Board Certified Family Physicians, having completed a 3 year residency
training program. Family practice physicians are required to
recertify every 7 years to remain board certified. Visit our general

Thomas
Wilson, M.D. received a medical degree from the Autonomous
University of Guadalajara and completed a Family Practice residency
at the University of California at Davis, as well as serving as an
Assistant Clinical Professor. He is a Diplomat of the
American board of Family Practitioners and a member of the Christian
Medical and Dental Society. He served as chief of staff
at Emanuel Medical Center in 1996. Dr. Wilson and his wife,
Cindy, have a son and three daughters. |

James
MacLaren, M.D. obtained his medical degree from the
University of California at Irvine and completed his Family Practice
residency from Stanislaus Medical Center. He is a Diplomat of
the American board of Family Practitioners and a member of the
Christian Medical and Dental society. He serves as the Medical
Director of Home Hospice at Emanuel Medical Center. Dr.
MacLaren and his wife, Debbie, have two sons and a daughter. |

Scott Hennes,
M.D. joined our practice in April, 1996. He received a
medical degree and completed his Family Practice residency from the
University of Alberta, Canada. He is a Diplomat of the
American Board of Family Practitioners, a member of the Canadian
College of Family Practice and the Wilderness Society. He
currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of
California at Davis. Dr. Hennes and his wife, Margaret, have
two daughters and a son. |

James Knapp,
M.D. began his practice with Family Medical Group in July
1996 after graduating from UCLA medical school. He completed
his Family Practice residency training at Northridge Hospital
Medical Center in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Knapp is a
Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practitioners and a member
of the Stanislaus County Medical Society. Dr. Knapp is the
Medical Director for Covenant Village in Turlock. He and his
wife, Sandie, have a son and daughter. |

Jim Reape,
PAC/FNP obtained his Nurse Practioners degree from UC
Davis. He began seeing patient at Family Medical Group in
November, 2001. Previously, he was employed at Emanuel Medical
Center as an RN and a nursing supervisor. He and his wife
Robin have 4 children. |
